American Apprel X A Tribe Called Quest

 

American Apparel were once seen as the brand with the most competitive advantage; through its fast pace products, to its stylist twist to seemingly plain t-shirts and jeans, it trumped the likes of Primark and Forever 21. 

But more recently the brand was left overextended and ended up filing for bankrupcy.

 

This document is my take on how American Apparel could reclaim themselves as a forward thinking, creative brand.

By collaborating with the likes of A Tribe Called Quest it adds unexpectancy to the brand and brings back the excitement and playfulness that it once was desired for.

I therefore captured the artistic format and re-imagined a classic album cover for the American Apparel generation.
